If a profile says they've been on the site over a year but they have no verification tick- hence no meets- does that put you off chatting to them?

If someone mails you that has been on here for 6 weeks but no verifications, would you consider meeting them?

The 6 weeker could have just deleted their '9 year no meet' profile and opened a new one.

A woman who has been on a year and has no veris I would assume is fake. The amount of socials and clubs going off, it’s not difficult to get a verification.

a woman 15 miles from me had joined a few days ago, had a good profile and at the end she put "if you want to chat message me, come on don't be shy" I did and never heard anymore, I assume I wasn't for her which is fine but no thanks would also have been fine

I would find it a bit suspect but then you get people saying that they opened the profile a year ago then met someone in the real world and let their profile lapse...

I take all people on value. But if they had no verifications it may take longer for me to meet. I always have a coffee social first so it wouldnt matter if they didnt turn up

I've seen that on a lot of profiles recently. Not sure if people are just catching on to a new way to try and get replies.

New women can literally get swamped by messages especially if they haven't found the filters.

I'd be more likely to meet the 6 weeker as I'd think that the one that hadn't been veried after a year is only here to perve.

I'd consider it but the first sign of tomewasting and i'm gone. Yes I understand that they may have taken a break etc but at the same time it can be a sign of a fake or someone who has no intention of meeting

If it was possible id turn veris off completely .

Why do i need a veri to let you know anything .

Ill swap my number & have a social meet 1st if they like & i like what we see .

Or just turn up as planned & enjoy the fun .

If you wont meet someone who has no veris then no big deal to either party.

I'm wary if someone has been on a year with none- but I know that the 6 week profile could be the same person, hence my OP.

I will chat will anyone, people use the site in many different ways so whether or not they are verified wouldn't matter to us. Besides the fact we meet at clubs and wedont get to check their verifications until we are leaving one of our own.

I like reading them because it gives a further dimension to their profile but its not essential.

On my single profile I've met unverified men,we all had to start somewhere.

It is much easier for women to meet and get verified here ,so I'm not suprise some men would consider unverified women's profiles fake,if they have been on a year.

Veris or lack of them wouldn't bother me in the slightest, regardless of whether the profile had been here a week or a thousand weeks....

.....whether I get on with that person through messages, get a sense of comfort they're genuine and establish a connection and chemistry with them however

I have no verification ticks as i’m currently meeting a chap i’ve met a few times and he hasn’t re-verified me. The other two men i’ve met whilst on my 2 years on site have left and i lost their verifications when i last deleted profile.

If it happens to me it happens to others so i’m a little bit understanding, although i do ask if they have had meets and if it’s a no i back off a bit then.

It also depends on your location. I'm about 95 miles away from my nearest club and local group socials have only been going for about 18 months. We have a sparse, ageing population in Cumbria so far fewer people to play with. As a result single women can get attention in any pub, any night.

I often work in London and I get more messages and profile views in 3 days of the city than 4 months of life in Cumbria. More attention must make it easier to get a verification.

Not everyone verifies, and not everyone uses their profile regularly...

I’d just recommend asking to have a social first.

Most girls asked me if they could see social media accounts, and also my passport/drivers license too!

We always exchange messages and then speak on the phone. You can tell a lot from that.

We are after single guys and they find it amazingly difficult to get meets. On our previous profile, we met two guys with no veris who were excellent. So who knows?

I've been on a while now and not met anyone, I just casually come on here and read the forums. The ladies in my local area are mostly either out of my league or I'm out of theirs so I've not made a lot of effort to arrange meets.

I'm not really planning on meeting any time soon and I'm just on here to entertain myself.

I have considered the dilemma that not being properly verified is likely to hinder any conversations I may have and come to the conclusion that I'll probably just end up going to a club night when I feel like meeting so there's no harm done.

Yeah good point. I've had a lot of mail from unverified 'over a year' profiles lately just wanting to chat. Depends on what they say though, I don't give people any wank chat.

In my head the person on a year either had no intention of meeting or like others have said met someone and put the profile on hold ... but that puts me off too because if you meet someone in the vanilla world and still have a profile here lurking in the background i see that as dishonest

It took me nearly 11 months months before i finally arranged a social and got my ellusive meet.

I tried everything I could on the site; posting on Forums, visiting chat rooms to increase my chances. As my membership grew older without any veris, people did question if I was genuine or not.

Once I received a a veri or two, my inbox and viewed me increased.

Despite my veris and being on here for nearly 3 years now, meeting is still just as difficult

I see some verified couples that havent had meets a few years, I'm suspicious...

I either think the wife lost interest,or left him...

when I start getting mail from them..or they approach me in the camroom(often the case no cam), I'm usually led to think 'hubby' is bisexual and wife isnt there or unaware.

I'd never now meet with people unless I know the female half is in acknowledgement..of either me or the scene.

I like the verifications I’ve got, I would always ask someone to leave one, but I will never publish any of them. Well, maybe the socials, but as far as I’m concerned, what happens on a meet is between me and the person I’ve met. Some of the verifications I’ve read are frankly embarrassing; every woman is absolutely stunning and gives the best oral, every man can make women cum like they’ve never cum before. A lot of them just seem very immature.

I do use the number of verifications (if visible) and the time somebody has been here as an indicator, but there are no rules about no verifications this, or too many verifications that; it’s just another attribute to add to the big equation.

I don’t meet straight from Fab anyway. Usually we will have chatted on kik or whatsapp for a while before planning a meet. Sometimes a phone call also so verifications don’t matter as much to me then.

Unfortunately, I think I fall right into this category!

I've had one meet on fab but without a verification - which is something that I seriously regret not sorting out.

I could agree with one of the previous comments that if you want meets/verifications then you just need to bite the bullet and go to a social or two...something which I've been considering for aaaaaages but just haven't plucked up the courage.
