We've a lovely set of blue tits nesting in a birdbox I put up.

But we have quite an array of birds where I live.

Red kites are a highlight to see

We have numerous wild birds in our garden. They seem to empty the feeders on an almost daily basis!

My favourite is a green woodpecker, which I have only seen a few times. Once on the peanut feeder in the early hours of the morning

Had a pair of bul finches on my feedersfew days ago regularly see long tail titsand have a nest of house martins who come every year and nest in gables of my house

Always a nice bird to see is the barn owl, Its all about being in the right place at the right time to see birds, I,m usually in the wrong place at the right time but being outdoors there is always usually something to see of Interest..

Never see a bird in my back garden - had a feeder up over a year and it's still full!

But I was out in the Peak District at the weekend - lots of red grouse (including one that didn't want to let me past on the path!) and lapwings and a pair of ring ouzels

A good location for diversity is the peak spent many happy hours in the white peak luckily we have such places left to see still.
