do you not find that laughs are better when you are 'in company' ?

i can watch summat funny on tv and not laugh - maybe a smirk or a giggle but not a laugh

but show me the same thing in the company of 1 or 2 other people who also find it funny and i'll be rolling in the aisles

this happen to anyone else ?

I laugh out loud at things on the telly, shout at things on the telly, cry at things on the telly. The telly is my friend.

Can you tell I'm single?

The Town by The Cross

I can laugh out loud anywhere ( tho it takes a certain something to make me laugh ) I laugh at t.v aloud, I laugh at the net aloud and I laugh in the street but less loud. My daughter can't understand it - she says she laughs inside.

That's because laughter is largely a social response in order to bind us together.

I laugh out loud at some of the sketches from Monty Python or some of the off the wall jokes by Steven Wright, or Police Squad, Naked Gun, Airplane.

I always try to get Mrs Red to do the same but she just says, "I cannot see what you find to laugh about" then she continues to look at Farmville

So, alas, I just have to laugh alone and may never know the joys of a 'joint laughing session' at least not until Monday when I go back to work and we all rip the piss out of each other
