I didn't know until I left my husband. He is about 5.5" and it didn't bother me ever.

One of my regular partners is about 7.5 (2.5 hand potatoes) and sometimes it really hurts me.

I met someone from here a couple of times who was over 8" and in some positions it was excruciating. I don't have very stretchy skin either.

In fairness to the guy, this is why different women suit different menstrual cups. They advise you to see if you can touch the neck of your cervix before buying one to see which style suits you best. Some women need to cut off the stems, others need all the stem they can get, so yes, different depths as it were.

We are all different shapes OP. Some have a lower lying cervix than others. I'm not sure that it's 'most' though. I struggle if someone is vwe, as it can be quite painful. I'm not sure of your size, but different positions can also help accommodate and make it a little more comfortable for the female. The fun is in the exploring
