Swindon

A single guy who asked us to attend a party.

We asked who else was going.

He said people who were not on fabs.

We said if he had no guest list or photos of those coming we were unlikely to attend.

To which he replied that his party wasn't for us as we were 'Hardened swingers'

One question for the lovely people of fabs.... Is this an insult?

I think 'hardened swinger' is used in a derogatory way. People are keen to say they are not 'hardened swingers' on their profiles.

People say things designed to dismay when they don’t get what they want. Ignore him - your interpretation of ‘hardened’ might be different to his, and indeed, you may decide that adjective isn’t accurate anyway. It boils down to: who cares?

Maybe, maybe not.

It might just mean everyone else is just starting out and might for whatever reason feel intimidated by anyone more experienced.

Similar to going to a club for the first time kind of thing.

It was meant as one but I’m a firm believer in if the person doesn’t matter to you then it’s irrelevant anyway!

So I've been told.

It happens to men too. They pay to attend a party and only one woman turns up, but the others are on their way.
