What's everyone's favourite pot noodle and can we discuss pot noodles in general no hate just 100% appreciation

My favourite is the green pot noodle , which has no been the same since they removed the fake chicken soya peices but is still lovely

Pot noodles are like white dogshit, should of been left in the 80's since they took all the fun stuff out like E numbers and salt they are space food for rodents. (Obviously rodents in space) not had one for well over a decade and was only ever the green one. Pink shrimps also not the same, others I can't think of at the moment but hey thaks for the pot noodle rage flashback I now have haha.....On a lighter note try nissin soba noodles...nice

Beef and tomato pot noodles were my regular post horse riding snack with a bagel (carbs galore!)

Had one the other day looking for some nostalgic treat but just tastes of nothing! Brink back the additives!

The Town by The Cross

The chicken one was the only one to have. Mind you - I last had one about 40 years ago. I went from loving them to feeling sick at the thought of them when I was pregnant. After giving birth i stopped living the high life and brought up my family on good food.

Poor them I say.

Well after all this talk of pot noodles ( I havnt had one since the 70s) ... I went out and bought a curry flavour o e today... and had it for my lunch ....so disappointed , as soon as I opened it up ....texture different. ....no taste ... uuuurgh ....

Does anyone else remember the old spicy curry flavour? It was so tasty. There used to be this brownish sauce in the little pack and IMO it was delicious.

Then around 1995/94 they changed it to the tangy orange one and it's just never been the same since.

I miss the old spicy curry so much ;(

Also I liked Nice N Spicy. Whenever I was I'll I used to have one and a big warm Nesquik chocolate milkshake in a pint glass in the microwave :p

Tried the Super Noodles pots when they were on offer a while back, was disappointing.

Is this the thread to talk about pasta and sauce too? Its not the same these days, there used yo be mushroom and wine, creamy tomato and mushroom and Italian herbs & garlic. I still remember the tastes vividly from 20yrs ago and miss them very much.
