As I lay down to sleep

You climb into bed. Pull the cover up and get comfy. Then the brain starts kicking in. What do you think about while trying to get asleep?

Do you worry about the things haven't got to do yet?

Do you worry about the future?

Do you like me worry about silly little things like did I lock the door?

Do you fantasize about things you don't have or things you want?

Would love to know what's on your mind

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It depends whether I have bees buzzing in my head or not.

On a sane, non-buzzy night, I typically remember something I was supposed to do; plan my outfit for the next day; work through all the work niggles ready for the next day; listen to my tinnitus; get up and take an antihistamine to relieve my hayfever symptoms and help me sleep.

I think about how many hours of sleep I'll have if it's less than 5, it's going to be a bad day

I don't think I think about anything other than how lovely and comfy my bed is. I rarely struggle to fall asleep

I read a book and then when I get tired and my hand gives out and the book hits me in the face I know it's time to close it and go to sleep.

I'm usually thinking about everything at once, what I said/did, what I shouldn't say/do, how I should do it instead, what I think people think about what I did so I'm trying to be concentrated on one spot in my head and zone out

K

I try & stop my brain from over thinking too much (don't laugh). It's often hard to fully switch off. I think I may have just found a good distraction though

I don't generally worry at night or much at all. I'm largely tired, calm and restful in bed.

Not a big sleeper , about 4-5 hours and I'm fine , to be honest what I think of depends on what kind of day it's been or what I have to do
