I had a hysterectomy because the blood loss was killing me.

Naproxen and hot water bottles/ heat pads and baths. I had a ruptured ovarian cyst last week and the pain was insane. I had a spa day when recovering and it helped loads with the hot tubs and steam rooms.

Hiding in the shadows

I've had multiple operations to remove mine, plus adhesions & scar tissue from an emergency CS.

Was refused a hysterectomy at the time as too young & potentially may have wanted more kids!?

Was recommended having the coil fitted, it has worked so far

The Mirena coil is an option depending on the size and location of your fibroids.

They can also perform uterine fibroid embolisation, which cuts off the blood supply, or ablation, which destroys the lining of the uterus with heat.

They were going to change my coil and cut the fibroids if they don't stop growing. Hope they just stay where they are x
