FWB/FB for how long ?

Do you tend to have a fwb or fb for a long time? Or is it usually very short term?

I had one guy I saw over 3 years and another for 2.

I think I’d probably grow feelings for someone if I saw them for a long period of time. On the flight side, if I only see someone sporadically, I tend to lose the feels for them.

I've had one fab for 7 years. Admittedly I don't see much of him anymore as he lives abroad now but we email regularly & meet a couple of times a year when he's in the UK.

I have 2 FWB's now...

One I met almost 10 years ago, and I suppose we're really somewhere between fwb / relationship but it suits us both.

The other I met around 4 years ago.

3-5 years is the average time for fwb. I don’t get feelings. As it’s just sex now an then. I need a lot more than a hard on for me to get feelings. An generally I do just like their dick. Nothing else.

First fwb 4 years

Second fwb a year

Been seeing my current fwb for a month.... early days see him most weekends, he seems happy for it to be a long term things based on the plans we are making so all good.

Slough Windsor ish

I had several FWB as a single female. Most lasted 6/7 years, one 10 years.

All have remained good friends now that im in a relationship... (with someone who started out as a FWB!)
