So I achieved my 'fab' dream of making hot pics page 1.

Woke up to see I'm #2, and I'm obviously very flattered/pleased to be there.Its actually given my butterflies in my stomach

But there's a downside I hadn't really taken into account.I've had 16000 odd profile views, over 1000 messages still unread. I always said I'd try to respond to every decent message or compliment ( apart from the 'let's fuck now' type) but I don't see how I physically can

Because of the limitations of the site messaging system, I can only scroll down the top page of messages, then I have to delete them before I can read more. I think personally that bulk delete is rude when people have taken the time to message me, so do you think it would be acceptable to put , for instance, a generic thank you to everyone at the top of my profile with an apology for not being able to reply?

Or am I over thinking things? xx

Personally I'd bulk delete, set your filters highto stop further messages and put a status up saying impossible to answer all messages

You're overthinking things.

I definitely don't miss the bursting inbox I had as a single female. Unless you're gonna make fab a full time job, you're never gonna be able to reply to everyone.

I feel your pain op, i know exactly how you feel, ive woken up this morning to 2 massages, ive only now just been able to reply to them all,i woke up to see ive made page 672 ( is there such a page) so i know absolutely what you are going through

Also it's not so much that I mind the number of messages, more that the fab system doesn't allow me to see older messages without deleting a substantial amount of the newest ones first

You will waste a hell of a lot of time if you do reply.

I know, it just seems a bit of a technical limitation but then it is a free site

Its a double edged sword ..

You ask for and get the fabs but then they think you want to chat too! Tbh im surprised that many feel the need to message mid wank .. you must have a broad age range

Haha, maybe, but my point was really about the messaging system not really being conducive to reading and answering large quantities of messages! I appreciate every single message anyone takes the time to write, but I can't even see them all without deleting loads.

Once youve replied,then delete,to reveal the ones on the bottom. They'll all re reply though so you'll be at it for ever

last week when you were asking for fabs in your status update so you could get from page 5 to page 1 you mentioned then that you had hundreds of messages so surely you knew getting to page one would be even worse? probably most of the messages say nice pic and they really don't expect an answer, you obviously don't have filters in place so I would not waste time reading and replying to people who you are not looking to meet/chat with

Attention seeking? Yes, isn't that why we post pictures on here. I'm attempting to point out what I consider is a glitch in the system, I don't see the need for catty comments, but if you feel that way then message me directly and I'll delete and block as was so kindly recommended.

So many men complain about not getting replies,but the system really doesn't make it easy
