No plagiarism takes place in the creation of my profile. One of my older profile blurbs got copied and pasted word for word by a fella. Just damn lazy

I looked at other profiles, and then went my own way. The result is that my profile is really divisive, and gets me as much grief as it does friendliness. But, as long as the positives continue, I’m happy with it.

It’s clear, as you look through them, that a lot of people ‘borrow’ from what they see in others profiles.

Whatever you do, don’t put in one of those ‘copyright’ notices.

Well I go by what I think will be as honest as possible , and what will attract the type of meets we are looking for .

More recently I’ve changed it almost every week as there are so many who still find a question to ask that’s not covered by the profile . And the problem is then that it becomes longer , and even less likely to be read

People do read profiles. I've got over 200 views today but only about 20 messages.

When I change it I get different numbers of messages.

Best to keep it simple I think. One or two sentences of the most important points.

It's interesting seeing how messages change depending on pics and text.

I usually write my own, without looking at other profiles and it changes every once in a while.

I had a thread asking people to write my profile for me. I took that and made it my profile for about 6 months. It worked just as well as anything I wrote.

I've not changed mine for years.

I used to have a fairly "upbeat" profile, that wasn't me. I decided to be honest in this one, it took me 20 minutes and I've never managed to crystalise my thoughts on Fabs more clearly, so it has stayed.

The pictures are what determines whether I bother to read the profile. So I'd say they are as important whatever gender.
