I don't drink it but when I was in Rome some of the fancy coffee shops were asking 5-7 euros for a coffee.

Don't drink coffee, but i once got charged £2.90 for a cup of lukewarm nats piss.

Not sure it had even seen a tea leaf let alone the whole bag.

I can't remember the price of the cup of coffee, but two bowls of soup and one cup of coffee came in at just over £56 in Oslo last summer, so I'm guessing it was probably north of ten quid for the coffee.

If you ask for a coffee in Rome you'll literally get something like 50mls. They usually serve coffee that's meant to be downed in one. I'm not a coffee drinker but I was tired and ordered a coffee, can't remember what I paid but I was like wtf is that

Third wave filter.. shouldnt cost no more than 3£ a cup (unless its a micro-lot 100€/kg bean which is rare & "special") But dont let that one time put you off filter coffee

I paid a supplement of £3.50 on top of a afternoon tea rate for blue mountain coffee and I thought it was meh.

Couldn't say my most expensive, If I want something I splurge and then wonder why I'm skint later

A fucking lot.

When I was younger I came to Europe from the U.S. In Rome, for example, coffee was expensive, and then if you took into account the exchange rate...I can't even think about how much I've paid without feeling a bit sick.

So I bought a coffee thermos that had slots in the bottom for instant coffee packets. I always bring that with me when I go to Europe, even though I don't like instant coffee. Addiction is an ugly thing.

Do ye not check the prices of the places ye go to or atleat the menu? I've been to Paris and Rome and didn't get ripped off completely because I would glance at a menu or even if I sat down outside on their seats if I thought the menu was a rip off I'd walk away once the server couldn't see me haha

Well since the average price of a Costa coffee is £3 then that would be 2 a day for a month , less her days off and it’s easily done .

Good for her , these coffeee shops make a fortune out of the gullible public .
