A lot of the things already mentioned around friends etc - but a few more to add...

...for starters a collection of pictures of me in various states of undress!!!

Being serious however probably the biggest thing I've gained is a personal sense that actually I am attractive to others - which is something I've never particularly thought even going back to my teens - and as a result of that I've also gained a little more self-confidence - it's still a work in progress but it's getting there

I have gained some great friends and amazing lovers. A bigger understanding of my own sexuality and a deeper understanding of what love can entail. I now know that open minded doesn't always mean about everything and that I care less about the opinions of other people, especially ones I don't know, even less than I thought I did
