I like carrotts.

I like mayonaise.

Not keen on white cabbage.

Just not sure why it goes so horribly wrong when it's all mixed together

It's nice on jacket potatoes, in sandwiches, with steak and mashed potatoes and with a salad.

Because you need just the slightest bit of creme freche in there to make it more creamy, youve not added a bit of onion & you havent put boat loads of pepper in too!

Coleslaw not slaw! Where did that even come from?

Used to hate the stuff as a child but then had some from Pizzaland (predessor to Bella Pasta then Bella Italia). It was mas produced shite but had a really nice taste. Then didnt touch it in years as always too creamy until found Sainsburys Deli Coleslaw. It was the same Coleslaw. Then one day they changed it to Asda’s Coleslaw. So I am back to being Coleslawless. I am so cool!

Coleslaw is food of the Gods!

But it depends where it's from or who made it and how ...

I love marks and Spencer cheese coleslaw

It goes really nicely with a quiche or a jacket potato

" sad I love pickled eggs. Always have a jar in cupboard X"

I have a relative who made a fish pie using pickled eggs; again, just wrong.

He also made home-made peanut butter without the consideration of roasting the peanuts; beyond wrong.

Quartered boiled eggs (cooked without turning them into some kind of organic rubber product) are awesome in a home-made potato salad.

Raw peanut butter?

I put smashed boiled eggs in my potato salad, along with spring onions and sweetcorn.

Yes; raw peanut butter.

It was inedible.

I always add spring onions, but have never tried adding sweetcorn; adding 1/2 tsp toasted cumin seeds works well.
