What’s your favourite ? I’ve just had Bavarian smoked cheese with apple.

Also love a good blue cheese and stinking Bishop.

I like it on slices of cucumber with onion relish

Great British Cheese company do some good ones too, but the CCC is the best of the bunch I’ve tried. And I like to try a lot

We bought some chilli cheddar from a stall at a food event in Falmouth last year and oh man it was beyond amazing! Wish I could remember the name of it now, was really nice and hot the chilli but still allowed a lot of the cheese flavours through!

Was it in a green or red wax truckle?

Gorgonzola - especially if it’s been out of the fridge for a while so you can almost pour it.

There and to the left a bit

If it's raw cheese my favourites are the ones that stay on the shelf in the supermarket

I was a bit scared to open this thread.. but hey - it really IS about cheese!

My absolute favourite is a really good mature cheddar - nothing fancy.

I do like the specialist cheeses too though - especially the fruit ones.

The ones I couldn't bear to try though are the blue cheeses and Stilton - the smell alone puts me off. The thought of putting mouldy cheese in my mouth makes me want to barf!

"Cornish yarg "

Not sure if I had some dodgy Yarg but when I bought some didn't hit the spot for me.

Much prefer an extra mature cheddar or at Christmas bought some white Stilton & cranberry - very nice. (I Don't do "normal" mouldy Stilton )

I was behind two men at the Asda check out today. They had 2 bottles of pink Blossom Hill, 2 Cadburys creme eggs and two packets of grated mature cheddar cheese on the checkout. I thought aye aye, someone has a wild night ahead of them.

Brie de meaux

When it's absolutely ripe, you can put it in the boot and it still stinks the car out. Slap it on some crusty bread, voila. So looking to our upcoming France excursion.

I should have asked what they were going to do with the cheese.
