I don't think of them as fashionable or not.

I like them, they're better for you than tights and don't fall down like hold ups. The only down side is the suspenders show under tight fitting clothes

You're the second person to say that .

For me it depends where I am. I like to look groomed and part of that is having a smooth outline to my clothes if I'm out socially or at work. For other occasions of course it's not a problem
