"So one thing I've noticed from going to swingers clubs is how fucking awesome the women often look at varying ages from 20s through to late 50s and sometimes older. I've certainly upped my beauty regime since swinging!! So what tricks of the trade do you beautiful lot use and swear by?! My long standing things are: Derma roller (looks like torture instrument with needles) has kept lines at bay for years now. Recent find: suction cups for cellulite... AMAZING!!! genuinely works a treat Fake tan. Obvs... And endless scrubbing" Whatever you've been doing it's definitely working

"I've never really been bothered with expensive or time consuming beautifying rituals. I started using a daycream a couple of years ago and I get my roots and hair dyed by a hairdresser rather than doing it myself every couple of months but that's about it for a beauty regime. Other than daily body lotion on my upper arms because I have keratosis pilaris there. " I use a really good salt scrub for that plus cut of sugar and wheat for a while and its all totally gone. Had it for as long as I can remember xx

"Eat healthy when you can Exercise Face cleanse at night, Moisturise daily Positivity OP you do look great (am going to check out the derma roller you mention) " You look phenomenal! I've used a derma roller since it was a thing Angelina Jolie apparently used 10 years ago. Really works. I use it prob a couple times a month now. I love finding new beauty tricks. Such as readinh once about strippers using hemorrhoid cream on spots!! Diet and exercise play a big role but genes definitely help. I've got a naturally very round face but I'm careful not to let my weight fluctuate up and down too much. Playa havoc with boobs and jaw lines otherwise!!

"Good genes, good hairdresser, fresh air, exercise. Moisturiser can be the cheapest as long as you use sunscreen." I've always cut my own hair as have a really fear of hairdressers... But I do get hair envy of those with long glossy tresses! I recently discovered Arbonne products... Only got their eye cream as so expensive but made a big difference. I just stick to olay radience moisturiser though for rest of face as suits my skin xx

"Take make up off in evening. Fake lashes! Suction cups? Tell me more! " Well... They're bloody amazing. Just a domed rubber cup that looks like something you'd get with your laundry detergent... Cover your thighs in baby oil or moisturiser suction on and then massage in big circles. Hurts like fuck to start with so go gently. You'll see a difference in a couple of days. I just do 5 mins a day if I remember xx

"I don’t think I have ever particularly invested in myself through good self care (whether consistently committing to a beauty or fitness regime), predominantly due to low self esteem and often thinking there were other things that took priority. No more! Bookmarking this thread for good tips, thanks OP!! " Oh Darling you must indulge. Bring out your goddess vibe. Seriously indulge in your body ... Love it and cherish it. Most of all be the goddess you are xx

I avoid using anything on my nose and forehead as it's so greasy. I use a hair mask treatment every time I wash my hair try not to wash it more than once a week, twice if I really have to. My father has always looked about 20 years younger than his age and has never used anything but soap on his face . His mother who also looked very young used glycerine and rose water on her face and when her kids were little would wipe their wet nappy on her face. I saw a therapist recommending using your own urine on telly the other day too. I think I'll pass

"I don't really do much, I wash my face in the shower/bath, use moisteriser if I think I need to. I don't pluck or wax anything but I shave everything from the waist down every day. That is pretty much it for me, I'm no major beauty but think I look ok for almost 46. " You look frigging awesome!!

I’ve always looked after my skin so It’s in reasonable shape for my age - but it’s very sensitive so every (often expensive) anti-wrinkle product I’ve tried has made my skin dry and patchy! Can anyone who knows about them recommend a good (but not too expensive) one suitable for a middle aged woman? I’d be most grateful!

I literally have only the faintest lines and my skin tone really good. The tiny needles cause minute pin pricks to the skin which boosts collagen production as the skin heals. You won't see any damage although I always do mid week especially on my neck in case it looks red afterwards. You only need to gently roll it across skin a few times. I use round edges of my eyes, forehead plus neck and décolletage. Good for scarred areas too such as stretch marks. Try a rosehip oil by Neal's yard for your skin. Super boosted with antioxidants and ultra gentle. They work a treat for sensitive skin... I used to get ultra flushed and still have to be really careful sometimes xx

I’ve googled derma rollers and I think one would be ideal for me! I’d be most grateful if you could pm me with details of where you got yours and how much you paid for it? Or post it on here of course! " Mines an unbranded one off eBay... Two different heads with 1mm and 1.5mm needles... I'm on my third one as I feel after a while the needles not as sharp (They're teeny surgical ones) but that's in 10 years! Definitely helps with skin tone... You can use them all over and get wide heads for using on the body xx
