What do you tell people you meet

Not everyone blurts out their life history when meeting new people, but some things you would think they would straight away.

Maid told me just that when she was a teenager, she was "English student #3" on a German TV drama, her family lived in Germany for 3 years, and she just happened upon an acting role.

I think that's quite a big thing to forget to tell the man you love.

What have you forgotten to mention to people close to you?

I don't tell people anything. They don't need to know about me.

We tell them a tiny, weeny bit about our real life to put people at ease, very subtly btw. We like to strike a cord of commonality and 'realism' for a relaxed meet and so far so good. We don't like cold meets.

People I meet might become people close to me. If that's the case then things unfold.

If you can give your whole life out in too short a time, even to those close to you, then you need to get more depth to your life.

I don't necessarily forget to tell people close to me anything, it just hasn't come up in the lifetime of conversations I hope we'll have.

I probably said more about my life on here than people I've worked with for 3 years. I'm a bit you know all or nothing. I was surprised tho the 2nd time I met my neighbour he told me he was in the army..he drove lorries...his son likes the drink and the woman...how often he watches his grandkids and how much he had spent on his holiday. All I told him was I work nightshift in a care home. The funny thing was in the conversation I think I talked more than him x
