power suply for new virgin hub

Had the new virgin v6 box and internet hub, did a quick search on goggle, looks like it is a common problem, the idiots have sent the wrong power supply for the hub, I have two adaptors for the tv box, now the adaptor for the old internet box is the correct connection, but is safe to use on the new box, it has a 12v output I don't want to blow the new hub, and I cant get to speak to anyone from virgin, no option to speak to a real person

If more powerful then no plus the polarity needs to match. Easier would be to use the old hub until sorted. If all else fails go to the I want to leave option on 150 number.

tried 150 to try and speak to someone, but all the automated options don't include I would like to talk to a real person lol,

You stay on the line on the broadband fault option or the TiVo fault option. I think one of those eventually gets you to a person who then wants to book someone to come out to you. You then wait in for 6 hours for them to come at the end of that slot.

well I finally got to talk to someone in India lol, a new power supply ordered, lets hope it arrives as a lot of other people have been told it is on the way and never turned up, fingers crossed.

if you want to speak to someone much better go to disconnections

you will be surprised how much they will help you also did you also ask for your discount due to non service ?

old modem wont work as it needs to be registered when you connect it up on there system

been there tried that before
