Does this site lower self esteem?

I got told by someone from fab that i shouldn't be tryna meet women through this site at my age and that most men here have low self-esteems

I think if you already suffer with self esteem issues then this site won't help. For those of us who don't, it has no effect whatsoever

I think you need to be incredibly self assured and confident to enter the world of swinging... Something which certainly comes with age (sorry but I sound like your mum that's because you're the same age as my son)

Personally I would say there would be much better sites for you to have casual hookups at your age. It can absolutely brutal on here for some guys and the forum is full of guys wanting to know why they haven't got laid yet and worrying its because theyre ugly etc. So regarding the OP no this site isn't full of people with low self esteem but it can very quickly cause low self esteem and they tend to leave quicjly .

I think over time it can crush self esteem if you are contually turned down.

At 18 I was not sexually mature enough for any of this. That said I know youngsters far more worldly wise and mature than men twice their age. Everyones different.

As a parent I would hope my son didn't need to use a site like this and would prefer to hope he would be out with his mates finding a girl his own age to explore his sexuality with and share the experiences with.

Oh definitely... its made me 100% more confident, im always being told they love my picture and im beautiful and i sound delicious (we only have our avatar which shows my back and his tummy!)

I think this site and it's use depends a lot upon how you are feeling. Certain traits can show through so confidence shines and low self esteem bites through messages too.

A lot of clubs (not all) are over 21.

I think the thing is, if you’re tough enough & sexually mature enough to know what you want out of this, then there’s nothing wrong with you being on a swinging site. But don’t take rejection to heart & if you do feel like it’s getting too much, step back as it can be a little brutal, even for women!

But don’t dismiss the traditional way of dating & developing your sexual experiences either - experience is what will help you on here!

If you are a single guy who is not between the ages of thirty and forty, do not have a toned body, are not able to accommodate, is not able to hold a conversation for ten minutes without mentioning sex and cannot approach a woman without appearing like someone on the register, then your fab experience is going to be rejection, followed by rejection and then yet more rejection.

Hence if you have self esteem issues, this site is going to be hell.
