I like to ride my road bike. This weather is so frustrating.

Likewise mate, bloody nightmare ! Spring will be here eventually, until then i endure the wind and the rain, but i hate it ! Still, makes riding in the summer so much more enjoyable !

I’ve bought a smart turbo trainer and use Zwift. It’s great, the hills are hard work!

Pedaling away while it’s tipping it down outside with your friend that lives miles away is pretty neat. Go technology

Can you recommend any good routes in Somerset?

Hi, Somerset is fertile bike riding territory. If you like hills then head to the Quantocks, Exmoor or the Brendons. If you like it flat then the Somerset Levels will suit you.

Hope that helps a bit.

Sure does. Fairly new to the area, so still finding my feet (or wheels). Will head to the levels first. Thanks.

Scunthorpe

I've got a cyclocross bike for commuting, I ride in all weather except for snow (it makes me fall over).

It will be nice to ride my good bike soon though.
