Tinder Dilemma

So I sat there on Tinder swiping left and right when I was stopped in my tracks by a profile that appeared on my screen. On my screen had appeared a profile for a 23 year old women who had recently started on my team at work. C wasn’t the standard women I would normally go for being a few years younger than me and slightly chubby but she had this hotness surrounding her whenever I saw her in the office. We always share the odd smile or look in the office but always wondered if she wanted more. A dilemma suddenly appeared in my head. Do I swipe left thinking she’s a work colleague and shouldn’t mix work with pleasure or do I push the button I want to press and swipe right to see if things might happen?

Stranger things have started at work. Sexual harassment claims even, just be cautious if you do

Leave it alone, if you do get it on and it all goes (o)(o) up you still have to work together.

Wait so you smile at each other and that makes you wonder if she wants more?

Dont mix work and sex.

Swipe left. It could go pear shaped & want your working environment very awkward.

Wait till the Christmas party & ask her out

Sod being cautious... Just go for it... The worst she could do is say no.

Life's too damn short for worrying about what if's...

DO IT!

DO IT!

DO IT!

Yeah I'd leave it. I got involved with someone at work, fell totally in love with her, then she dumped me. Work was awful after that, worst thing I've been through...so far anyway.

Definitely swipe right, lifes too short. I've often avoided relationships at work in the past and looking back on it now i wish i'd just gone for it!

If I was in your situation I’d swipe right. When ever I see someone I know I always swipe right just to see what they did. I’ve matched with my best mates fit sister once but she was doing the same as me haha gutted

Be open and honest and just say you saw her on there.....why leave it to a dating app to tell her you like her??? That is the problem with people nowadays....the art of conversation is dead!

She's on tinder and she's friendly with you. Keep talking to her and see where it goes. If she sees you've swiped it might get a bit awkward. Let it happen naturally x

This.

Honestly it’s great when things are going well but i’m telling you now, the shit can really hit the fan if it goes tits up. And if you need your job then i’d not do it.

Depends on your attitude to life.

As long as you are both aware of the consequences if it did or didn't work out!

I personally swipe right on anyone that interests me... The situation is irrelevant... But I have a 'fuck it' kinda attitude towards this kind of stuff.

What if it didn't work out? BUT what if it DID?!

This pretty much, or just ignore the ap and see how things go at work you don't even have to mention tinder, why would you if you can speak to her at work.

Just do it, swipe right. Unless your work place have a well written sexual harassment in the Work place policy you’ll be fine.

Just see how it goes at work forget trying to contact her through Tinder, let it happen naturally. Grow some ball's...or swipe right whatever you do then if she doesn't you know straight away she doesn't find you attractive. She may not like the more curvy man.

What do I know...good luck!

Harsh.....and no need for a personal comment like that .....the OP was not asking for comments on his profile, photos or personal appearance

Not harsh in the slightly so don't make it out to be. The op said "C wasn’t the standard women I would normally go for being a few years younger than me and slightly chubby". I'm just saying that C may feel the same.

...but he likes her so hopefully she may feel the same when they're face to face.

The only thing you get from sitting on a fence is splinters in the ass.

Many relationships and even just fun start with people who meet at work.

Grow a pair. Go for it. The worst she can say is No.

And if she does you can always get another job

If you fancy her swipe right, if she fancies you back she’ll do the same. If she doesn’t or thinks it’s a bit weird she’ll swipe left. Where’s the drama in that. Or maybe, I know it’s a crazy idea like, but maybe you could actually walk up to her and actually speak to her in real life and ask her if she’d like to go for a drink. I just don’t know where I get these crazy notions from.
