"But I don't know what it is. How do you deal with those days? Do you talk about it? How do you explain it when someone asks what's wrong? Do you hide away or do you force yourself to face the day?" Well I would say the fact you've opened up about it this morning would suggest you've already taken action by asking advice . So you're half way there Rubi xx

"But I don't know what it is. How do you deal with those days? Do you talk about it? How do you explain it when someone asks what's wrong? Do you hide away or do you force yourself to face the day?" I take some time for myself to mull things over, and then preferably talk it out with someone sympathetic. Sometimes as you talk things can become clear too.

"That feeling of something missing that you can't quite put your finger on? Which then consumes your thoughts throughout the day, but you still can't quite work out what it is? I think a lot of feelings of being in limbo present themselves around this time of year, we're tuned into the change of seasons and our bodies crave the sunshine and milder temperatures! Turn your thoughts to something else and it will all become clear... Peach, lover of the elements and occasional voodoo priestess" That's close yeah! I can't talk about it, I don't know what it is, it's just a feeling.

"Holly Golightly: You know those days when you get the mean reds? Paul Varjak: The mean reds, you mean like the blues? Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling? Paul Varjak: Sure. Holly Golightly: Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!" There is a shop near my work that sells Steiffe teddy bears. I often go over and just spend time looking at them through the window when I’ve had a red day or a blue day. Calms me right down and puts a smile on my face.

"I work on the premise that, if I don't know what "it" is, then I cant do anything about it, and worrying will just make things worse, so I just let it go, and carry on. Once I find something else to do, I really put my full concentration into that, and often I find, when I then take a break, whatever "it" was pops into my head, and I can deal with it. too deep.... loud music thats all you need lol I then again decide if its in the "I can sort that" category, and if it is, I deal with it, if not, I might worry a little, but again, I "park" it until I can either deal with it, or it resolves itself one way or another."
