League Managers Association chief Richard Bevan fears that several foreign-owned Premier League clubs want to scrap relegation ....

in my opinion that would be the end of the domestic game in this country - and probably any chance of England ever winning the World Cup again (as if we have much chance anyway lol)

I'm not really surprised, they'll do anything to keep the gravy train going.

The next thing to be aired will be scrapping transfers as we know them, in favour of the American draft system.

We're all doomed I tell ya, we're doomed

In some cases, relegation even does the big teams a favour.

Oh Denis, how could you?

I don't think they would be able to get it through as it needs more votes than they could muster.

Yes if 5 or 6 teams were bought it's possible but that is the equivalent of a quarter of the division.

I can see for financial stability why they would want to but I think it would kill the dream of many in the Championship.

We wouldn't have got to enjoy Blackpool's stint in the top flight for example. Keep it as it is for me.

Money talks so the ones with the money will make decisions. If you had paid 100mil plus you would want to choose what happens.

apparently only 14 clubs needed to vote any change in the PL - though the FA retain a right of veto

Dont see this ever happening

Blackburn owners would favour no relegation but it wont matter to the foreign owners of man uts man city or liverpool but it might be of interest to the owners of arsenal
