my profile question about settings

if you click on my account

and then click on view my own profile, you see this Distance:within 10 miles

its next to a symbol of a house and a green circle.

just wondered what it means and can it be altered

I'm not Shor wot your on about op sorry.

But the thing by the house on your profile or any other profile for that matter that ses how far you are from them seems to Onley work if your a site supporter. So not Shor how you can akses it without.

I don’t think you can filter by miles, it seems to do an area which is fairly wide ranging

It's the distance you are from the person based on your postcode on your own profile.

There and to the left a bit

There are two things there - neither of which are anything to do with how near or far you'd meet.

The one with the house is distance from the postcode you set as where you are located - think minimum it goes to is within 10 miles to prevent people using it to zero in on where you live.

The one with the mobile is distance the person is from where you currently are so if you're accessing the site from your mobile will change depending on where you physically are
