We’re all on here for one reason or another with the main reason being enjoyment / fun. That’s why I’m here anyway.

However, I’m a male widower with a small child. He’s my everything and my world.

When I explain this to people or people see an old photo or baby toys they run a mile accusing witch with their pitchforks and burning sticks out without a hope of explanation!

I guess I should just put it in my profile from now on but again... it’s easier to judge than just ask or understand, isn’t it?

Why should you explain? Do you want to meet people who are judgemental like that?

Ultimately im guessing you want no strings fun, maybe something regular? Your personal situation is really nobody elses business and im sure unlikely to impact upon any meets... so why do hey need to know?

Of course the other real danger in your situation is ladies taking pity and thinking they can save you from your sadness etc.... there are some very peculiar folk on here!

It’s the fact that they’re gone and you’re blocked when you were getting in just fine...

It’s incredibly frustrating.

Tidy up I like to think my place is tidy but sometimes the odd thing gets in the background of a quick snapchat or quick kik message!

Those who understand and accept you here are those who you will connect with. Just be yourself.

Those who do not accept you as you are are not worth your time anyway so you have lost nothing.

It's your life you do not have to ever justify yourself to anyone.

I wouldn't worry matey. It's a perfect filter for those that aren't compatible with you. Personally I would hope that you put your child before anything else... you seem real and honest so the right ones won't mind stuff like that x

As a single parent I’ve chatted to and met many single dads - some of whom share custody - some have sole custody!

Dads are parents too - anyone who can’t accept that isn’t worth your time or attention op!

I have to say O.P. that you should be more careful with your pics.

I haven't seen a woman on here with pictures of kids and toys in them.

They tend to take adult pics of themselves.

Take some decent photos. Deliberate ones and make those the ones on view and the ones you send out. Keep your child separate from this.

My dad was a single dad. Just for the record. For no other reason than the record.

I am obviously not sending pictures of my little one in the background. I think something has been misinterpreted here...

I am however sending pictures with a toy or pram or similar accidentally in the background and this is where people assume they have me ‘rumbled’

Some women feel entitlement due to the volume of guys on here. They become all dramatic with the block button.

The simple answer OP is to check your pics more carefully and be sure there's nothing in the background to make people suspicious - regardless of whether they are right or wrong, or your circumstances, there are enough people on here who blatantly lie about their personal circumstances that people tend to be cautious and err on the side of suspicion - so by placing indicators that may heighten that suspicion you're not doing yourself any favours. Especially when a quick check before uploading/sending a pic could prevent that completely

This happens to us women as well. Not the toys in photos.

But the being accused of being married. I don’t accommodate.

I’m still single.

Many on here are playing away an lying about it. Can’t blame them for being cautious.

You know why you was blocked. Live an learn.
