Hello fabbers and especially the tech savvy!

Just looking at using phone as camera when in chat linked up to laptop .... been looking into it, seems like it can be done ..... but keep failing with apps ...

Any fabbers know how to do this? Any help greatly appreciated!!!

(Phone is iPhone, laptop is Mac Air)

Iwebcam or epocam will do your job... Search in App Store and download the software into ur pc.

If works please share it...

Soooo half way there! Got phone to link up on epocam viewer so phone camera now comes up on little screen on laptop .... but if we open fab chat it still uses the FaceTime camera

Anyone know how to change it so that fab will use the EpocCam?

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

You need to change your default camera on the PC from the inbuilt to your phone.

Google search how to do it, Macbooks are a foreign territory to me...

Can’t get the computer to recognise the app as a camera - it just pops up its own epocam window that works fine but doesn’t have the option of using it instead of the built in camera

Maybe we’ll try another app
