So it’s mothers Day tomorrow, where all us moms get at least 5 whole, uninterrupted minutes of appreciation. How will you indulge in yours?

And for anyone who had forgotten, your welcome

My mum was away for a month in Australia and had her birthday out there.

So I’ve got her a amethyst and diamond ring as a present for both, amethyst for her birthstone and diamonds for motherdays.

I bought the wrong size ring

Well played me

I’m having to work tomorrow, she’s looking after our dog whilst we work though. So it’s a win win situation for her, she loves the dog more than me

I'm working in the morning, mother will be working in the evening.

But I'll see her when I go round for tea in the afternoon. She's getting a little pot plant flower (that she told me she wanted) some nice bubble bath (apparently she's running out) and an easter egg as she'd rather that than a box of chocolate.

Very low maintenance is my mum.

My mam passed away 2 days before ma 7th birthday in 1969

I'm sure she would have made a great mother though

I came home last night to a balloon that said super mum and a card that each of my children wrote a message in. I cried.

There are many days I feel far from super mum however it seems they think I do okay.

Not only is it mothers day, it's also my mum's birthday today. She got her first tattoo done in the week to remember my ban so we are chipping in for that.

I also made her a mini egg cheesecake.

My daughter lives with my ex. I always buy a card and a gift so my daughter has something to give her on the day. Should I stop this?

I guess it depends how old your daughter is.... If she's 8 then no, 18 then probably

9. Me and the ex have no connection other than our daughter. Looks like I will do it for a few more years then

My ex does this for me and vice versa on fathers day, nothing major just a card and a small gesture. I feel it is more out of respect for him as the father of my children and him me. It’s a small gesture that goes a very long way so I would continue

No I don’t think so as you're doing it for your daughter I would think and not your ex. If you didn't she wouldn't have anything to give to her mum.

My ex still does it even though my daughter is now 16,as she doesn't earn any money yet. I don’t need to do it on Fathers day as he's now married again so that's her job now.

I think that’s a lovely thing to do, it will make your daughter happy as much as her mum.

My two make me a card and I await the terrible tea that will arrive at any moment

Quiet day for us, I will call my mum, I’m not seeing her today, but she is coming to stay for two weeks at Easter and later I will cook a lovely lamb roast for my two and I, with a few tunes on and a g&t while cooking. My happy place
