To be fair us men get shit messages too from single women and they’re just as quick to get abusive when they get turned down. It’s just that there are a lot more men on here so they stand out more and us men don’t go on forums whinging about the shit messages we receive.

That just isn't true. I tried that approach when I was first on here and many men immediately shifted to abuse, nagging or, frequently, attempts to get a pity shag. It's nasty as well as time consuming.

For the first few months I'd occasionally respond to a crap one line message and very very few respond decently. So now I don't bother. Over two sentences you get a reply, under that you get deleted.

Its worked for us and indeed for me when i had a single females profile. No filters applied. Minimal people blocked. 12 years on here with very little abuse.

I guess its just the luck of the draw.
