Business plans are a headache

Never had to write one before, I know what I want to say, and how I want to present all of the relevant data. But my god, it just doesn't look the way I want it to.

I'd rather be looking at suppliers, and actually doing some real work, but I'm sitting here with charts and bullet points, and all because I need investment, and or a loan

Thanks for listening, I feel better now

Somewhere / Everywhere /Kinksville

Keep it simple - visually easy to understand. Bullet points /charts

Clear defined sections.

Don’t publish anything you can’t explain

Good luck

I used a free course, part of the Oxlep government funded programme to learn how to write one.

Check out your local area business networks, you may have access to the same resource in your area.

Ross-on-Wye

Go for Funding Circle or similar.

They are much easier to deal with than banks, these days.

There will be a local enterprise agency geared to helping businesses start up and grow somewhere near you. They can often help with business planning. Sometimes they even have access to grants to reduce the funding you may require.

Thanks all, it's just the look of it, it's not professional enough for my liking, I keep looking at it and thinking "I wouldn't invest in that" I'll get there

Keep the numbers realistic.

Work on worst case scenario outcome, and see what the bottom line is - you can then build in real world projections and outcomes that are meaningful and more importantly achievable.

You can then feel comfortable when talking about the plan.

Hull

Check your local area to see if there are Set Up Business organisations who have their own advisors or can point you in the right direction to someone who can.

OR. Is there a local Chamber of Commerce or Trade? They might have leads.
