What does everyone think of it?

I thought it was excellent, but I am rather partial to musicals and Hugh Jackman. It was obviously quite romanticized but good none the less.

I'm curious how it compares with Barnum, instinct says I'll be disappointed.

I'm don't usually like musicals but my mates told me it was good so I watched it last night. I thought it was well structured. Not too much but not too little, the story line was great.

Honestly? I thought it was a pile of sh*te. Embarrassingly bad. But it seems like I’m in a minority compared to most people. I’m right of course, everyone else is wrong!

Question. Do you actually like musicals?

Listening to the soundtrack now. Is it weird for a guy to like stuff like this? I do like rom coms too.

The first question my Son asked is if it was going to be a stage show too, both my boys enjoy the Theatre and musicals, the youngest wants to watch Les Mis again for his birthday treat this year, I love the fact that he's asking to do things like this.

Not a huge fan of celluloid musicals but I don’t mind stage shows.

I wasn’t fully aware, if truth be told, that it was a full on musical before being taken to it.

It wasn’t really my thing. I ended up watching the football on my phone in the cinema with my headphones on to be honest.

I enjoyed it. I was a late bloomer where musicals are concerned, but could now sing you, very badly, Les Mis, Phantom, Miss Saigon, and a good bit of Chicago and Blood Brothers. Wicked is a great storyline too..

I only wanted to see it because I have a major crush on Hugh Jackman... But, honestly, I adored it!

Factually incorrect, of course but such a feel-good film, I didn't care.

It's been a long time since anything has made my heart nearly burst through my chest with joy (sad, I know!).

I bought the soundtrack immediately and know every song off by heart. I have it playing almost constantly in my car.

Also pre-ordered the blu-ray and can't wait to watch it again.

Slough Windsor ish

Musicals are not our thing but we had heard it was good so watched Sunday (dodgy Firestick).

It was ok, a bit over hyped but easy watching for a Sunday afternoon.

I might watch it. No one wanted to see it with me and I didn't have the time to go on my own so I missed it. I like musicals.
