I feel like a fraud defining myself as mature. I feel it implies a level of grown up-ness that I cannot live up to!! Anyone else bothered by this??

Do you know what you want in a meet? If the answer is yes then you are justified

Why do you refer to yourself as it then, I'm confused!

Maybe I put that badly? When there are threads looking for mature women. I probably fall in the age range the poster would consider mature. But, to me, mature has connotations of level headedness & grown up-ness that I do not live up to so cannot respond as would feel like a fraud.

Don’t grow up... it’s a trap.

Hello I’m sam.

Exactly!! It's certainly not the fun & freedom or knowing what you're doing that I was expecting!!

Pffffft!

I'm old (ish) but I'm definitely not "mature"

I refuse to grow up and be all those things that go with the "mature" status!

Bollocks

Nope, I'm quite happy being mature in years and outlook. It's possible to be mature with a youthful attitude
