So....I'm rubbish at any kind of relationship stuff and have steered clear of anything that is not NSA for years!

My dilemma is this, i had a date arranged for Saturday night. On Tuesday everything was fine, however, he has now gone quiet and not responded to last 2 texts grrr. Do i just leave it or do i text him and ask why he is now ignoring me?

Why is dating so hard?!?

I would leave it.. and if he gets in touch... all good, he may have a very good reason for not texting back

Maybe there’s an obvious reason I’m overlooking here…. But whats wrong with simply phoning instead of texting….!.

It would seen a reasonable option and it could help eliminate any uncertainty over whether his phone is switched on or off..... plus there a chance he might just answer it too.....

If I text anyone, family, friend etc and they don't respond I leave it as my name would have shown on their phone...they'll get back to me.

The quickest way to piss me off is sending another message, so I don't do it.

You've sent a couple of messages, any more and you'll look needy...not good.

Of course, that's just my _iew as I'd feel stalked...I've blocked for less.

I know if I am keen on someone I would text back within a few hours, if I am not I wouldn't. Maybe he has lost his phone, but can he contact you any other way? Email, internet site?

If I sent 2 texts and no reply then I would just leave it.

Hope it works out for you either way x

Think of it this way, if another female had put up the same post...would you advise them to halt with the texts?, I am guessing (hoping) you would, so heed your own advise and leave him to it, if he doesn't come back to you, go with the great cliché of 'his loss'

Firstly i'm not arrogant enough to believe its 'his loss'

Secondly i absolutely know what advice i would be giving friends etc in this position. Taking my own advice is a different matter!

I just think its a bit weird that he cant just say he doesnt want to go out anymore?

A cliché is overused and overrated, so it wasn't meant to imply you were arrogant, much more the opposite. Sometimes things are taken as intended, sometimes taken out of context, but we live and learn

I wish you luck, with your abandonment quest

The trick is to live in the moment...there need not be stress, just concentrate on the moment.

You had a nice night out, better than stuck in front of the tele
