I then said I will write a cheque for 30.00 and make out to your favourite charity and you can post ... They said NO. .. Forget it. .. The bit they always fail to understand is stopping power in a 4 wheel drive is exactly the same as a 2 wheel drive "I think that s a bit of a generalisation and I do not consider myself one of those... but my 4 wheel drive PLUS winter tyres does get me everywhere and enables me to help others as well. I agree you need to still consider stopping distances etc. | |||

No not ALL but as I said most, most people that own a 4x4 have never had any off road lessons, they've got no idea about tyres or diffs or driving style and they nearly always forget breaking distances are pretty much the same, unfortunately unlike most 2 wheel drive owners they insist in going out in snow storms thinking their 4x4 will save them | |||
