Snowing here right now quite hard. Ol'man gone to see elderly neighbour and walk up to Tesco for us all. Nice hot soup on the go and a lovely roast pork in oven for later.

Filled up the fat balls and water and topped up the seed for the birdies and the solitary rat that nips in for bread.

I quite liked the snow, but people driving like morons did irk me a bit. That, and my cold water inlet is frozen, so I had to take some drums of water from work and have a wash using a bucket and a plastic jug in the bath this morning.....

So I am tired, dealing and trying to dry out soaked through carpets and pissed off due to all the other building shit I have had to deal with in the last 7 months

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how awful it is when your pipes burst (mine did 20 odd years ago, flooded the back stairs and froze. It took months to fix it all).

I hope things get sorted quickly for you and that nothing precious was lost.

I agree with your female mate. The recent date needs to spend some time with you being outdoorsy. She'll soon see how rugged you are. I can't even type the word rugged without thinking of your arms and legs.
