Serious issue, Mrs has a serious stalker, even him being warned by the police hasn't helped. Don't want to put any details on here, but could anyone with knowledge or help please PM us, we are really concerned now

Thank you in advance

Go to the police again. If he's on here then report to Admin. They are great at sorting issues like that.

Police can issue a Police Information Notice (PIN) immediately. If this has no effect then seek a restraining order.

Police don't tend to do anything until they physically do something, it's a joke, even though when that person actually does something it could be very serious! Really pees me off. Just block them, don't acknowledge them, they thrive attention an if you give it they're winning.

Not doing it on here mores the pity, and it's the fact he could do something physical that's concerning me now

That’s not true at all. There are several offences where no physical act warrants police action. Harassment, malicious comunications, several sections of the public order act to name a few, none require a physical act to be used.

You’re asking for advice but say you don’t want to give any details, how can people offer advice if they don’t know what’s going on. Either give some details or don’t ask for advice. The two go hand in hand really, you can’t get one without giving the other.

I've known various situations to have the police turn around and say "well as they haven't done anything there's nothing we can do". They can warn the person, not that it does much use, but to obtain a restraining order requires police support and proof to support the allegations. If you're being stalked you can take photos, but what's to say that person doesn't turn it around on you.

My point was that the “do something” doesn’t need to be a physical act. It can be as little as unwarranted and repeated messages for instance. Each instance would have to dealt with by it’s own merits but people don’t need to wait for something to get physical, there is plenty of legislation to deal with things way before it gets that far.

Legislation is fine, but without effective use of it...be that by the witness or law it's worthless.

OP as stated without info it's impossible to advise you accurately. Let the authorities deal with it.

Ridiculous claims of smashing people and getting even dont help your position and in fact it's your wife you should be thinking about not your revenge.
