Pipes have frozen at work so I can't go in.

Just had a good breakkie, coffee, going to throw my boots on and go grab a little shop for my elderly neigbours alongside mine.

Get back, put a stew on. Get to the gym. Then read a book. Unless friends decide to pop round with their kids as they've suggested.

no matter

I have just had a broken tooth extracted,I was still asleep when dentist called and asked me to come earlier due to snow.

My face is hot and red and the pain is just starting to come with injection wearing off. Snuggled in blanket for rest of day.

Bless you Cinn, hubby had one taken out couple of weeks ago. Take what painkillers you can and don't forget the salt water tomorrow, it does help it heal quicker. Hugs

"Mum's funeral

All very complicated, let's just say you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family. My dad loved my mum, they were together more than 60 years. I loved my mum. I spent the day with my dad. Neither of us were at the funeral. Other family were.

I am okay, I believe mum would be okay with my decision and dad's decision. I expect I will find myself crying at unexpected times...

OP, I'm sorry for hijacking your thread, it was meant to be light hearted, and I've just lead ballooned it. Please everyone, I will be okay, go have fun and celebrate life, keep the party going, see you there soon. Polly xx

I'm sorry to hear this, you and your dad need to do what you need to do , if that makes sense.

I hope you and your dad have time and space to grieve, how and when you need too.

Big hugs x
