couple, us we him her.

Not as creepy as it sounds.

I am looking for a battery powered motion activated camera that either links to my smartphone .

It's for my van,due to my company being tight we are not allowed to modify the vehicle and we have no alarms not even factory fitted.

I take the most expensive tools out but couldn't possibly take all out every night.

Due to how ridiculously easy it is to break into a transit custom.

I'd like to try and install a small camera that hopefully alerts me .

Or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Thanks

Van vault is not an option due to the way they have van racked out.

Yi action cam I think its called..

you can probably get other cheaper ones though..but dont think they have smartphone connectivity..

in fact I think you need an IP camera, one that has its own internet connection..that you can connect to over your wifi on phone

Uttoxeter

A camera will simply record the theft and if noticed by the thieves can be ripped out and stolen too. Not exactly a deterrent...

A good alternative to an expensive wired in vehicle alarm is to use one or two simple shed alarms mounted inside. Battery powered Infra-Red Motion detect and operated by a fob. Fucking loud and will scare most opportunist thieves off.

I installed a basic wireless house alarm system in a camper van for a friend who was on a budget. It’s saved his stuff being nicked on two occasions in the south of France. The alarm sounders are so loud it hurts to be inside the vehicle. Battery Wireless door switches and microwave mounted motion detectors with 3M double sided adhesive foam strips mean no damage to vehicle and go off the moment a door is moved to open

Wow great idea, didn't know such stuff was available. Will definitely try that idea soon as planning to buy a campervan. Amazing the stuff you can learn on fab.,

Sounds perfect.

I only wanted something to alert me so I can go and beat the crap out of them.
