You’ve just made me smile although I suspect unintentionally.

I imagine the frenetic alphabet to be just my cup of tea.

The phonetic alphabet is thus:

Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliett, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee, Zulu.

It’s the frenetic alphabet if you say it all really quickly whilst jogging on the spot!

I think i can be indigo or India

I could be wrong but think the Uk police would use indigo and the aviation world use India.

Maybe someone knows for sure.

I am not being pedantic for the sake of it, would be interested to know.

Thanks

I have looked it up now too, it appears the official NATO word is India.

Indigo does get listed elsewhere, also it is stated that indigo is often used by the police too

Some words can sound confusing when spoken over a phone, but "I" and Aye" should only be certified if spoken by a Jawdee or a Jock
