East Grinstead

Never stayed at it, but saw a promo for 2p hotel rooms in the Tune Hotel, Liverpool Street.

Stays 4th Jan to 27 May, a little worrying that some rooms are windowless.

Spotting in Money Saving Expert mail.

I was allocated a windowless room in a hotel once.

Proper saw my arse over that but they wouldn't change / re-allocate.

So, I just had to get so d*unk that I didn't even notice there were walls in the room, let alone a lack of windows

Menston near Ilkley

Windowless rooms wouldn't worry me at all. I spent 7 years working on cruise ships and only once had a cabin with a porthole and all I saw through it was water.

I'd not be arsed if I had booked a cheap cabin on say a ferry crossing but £60/£70 a night for a hotel room without a window is a bit of a stretch.

Whenever I stay at a hotel or B&B, the first thing I do as soon as I walk through the door is to close the curtains, and they stay closed until I leave.

Therefore, I do not mind having a room without a view if it means I can get a cheap room in a big city such as London.

Now a threesome at night in a NYC hotel room 'with a view' was awesome.

Lights off, curtains open and the room only lit by the lights of the city below.

Someone press repeat please x

I had sex up against a window in New York, lights on in the room, city below, very exciting...

One of the best ways to get a cheap room is to stay at the halls of residence out of term time.
