Probably one in the early stages of my career when I spent a lot of time traveling overseas on a global project. Got to see a lot of the world on company time and had no other commitments to tie me back home. Happy days!

Never really had a job that I could boast about being the coolest, I’ve done loads of interesting ones and fun ones! Managing a golf club was up there, no experience in such a role and totally winged it! Organising events like tribute nights and seeing them sold out was a highlight!

Being a trustee of a charity and again organising events with cosplayer and seeing little kids faces light up seeing their hero’s was probably the coolest for me.

My job now is the one that brings me the most happiness, seeing my residents greet me and giving me a cuddle is my most rewarding, I have a little old lady that is living with the most awful dementia and I realised she loves me coming over to her, massive smile on my face and saying ‘bring it in’ and she has the biggest smile on her face, for a split second every day she genuinely asks me if I’m ok and not asking for tea every second. That’s my happiest job by far.

Geeky x

You sound like you’re totally content with what you do your totally right it’s not about the job you did or do it’s how you feel about what you do as long as you’re happy it’s the best job ever I used to do a job that made me happy because I was making a difference to peoples lives to show them they had a future and not live in a dark place for the rest of their lives

My best job was labouring on a caravan park in my youth.

Used to be tanned from head to toe.

Tea break, I'd get off the mower and swim a length in the pool.

For the last six years I've designed subsea Christmas trees

"I was ten in 80 smart arse..... that would've been irresponsible of my parents to let me up there.

Before i got trained up for faction liaison i was driving Gocs.... and a few politicians/vips that came over to german.... hence the suits and side arm.... and did work alongside the Rmp with a couple of Royal visits.

I ask about the suits and concealed weapon as I did CP in Bagdad for British and yank generals even went and had a bbq at David Petraeus house. We wasn't in suits and never had concealed weapons.

RTC doing CP is like a hospital porter doing surgery "

Yeah a nice suit and tie isn't ideal in Baghdad..... didn't make it there.... i was over there in 90/91.... and we all turn right instead of finishing the job.

I've always worked in an office, boring! Always been jealous of a friend of mine who works as a chief engineer on a mega yacht of one the the richest men in the world. Essentially just steams from exclusive destination to exclusive destination all year and the boss is on the boat maybe 14-21 days a year

Well I mixed some chlorine up for the hot tub. Then had an idea. My dog always pee in same place and it smells.i thought if I throw a load of chlorine over it then the smell would go... Well it did work. It fizzed and foamed up. Took a closer look and got a lung full. Was in shit state for days lol...

couple, us we him her.

Worked at a police riot training center, building various structures for the police to practice on.

Making targets for the rubber bullets to be fired at.

Got to watch and even participate ( in a very minor capacity shouting at horses)

But got to witness the many aspects of police riot training.

Best bit was witnessing cocky trainees turn up giving it all the big one, only to get beasted by the instructor's.

Class.

My daughter had trouble with certain pronunciations and we had tried for ages to get her to say them correctly without success. The school brought in someone like yourself and after 2 hours everything sorted. Amazing, so thanks to your profession.
