Have a day with anyone dead or alive who would it be and why?

I'd like a day with my dad again he's been gone thirty seven years this December and I still miss him too this day xx

I'd like a day with the guy who shot King Harold on the battlefield at Hastings in 1066. I'd tell him, "You wanna watch that fookin bow, you'll have some bugger's eye out with it!"

Torquay

Would be my dad, I was only a small child when he was killed and although I loved my mum to pieces until I lost her 13 years later, I would have loved to have known my dad better.

RIP Tommy

My Mum- I would ask her all the questions that I have wondered about growing up without her, and see if I looked like her as I am the same age now, that she was when she died.

Same as the OP.

My dad died 23 years ago this month and I never got the opportunity to say goodbye.

With someone close, my mums eldest sister for not having the courage to say 'goodbye' when she was on her death bed (I was about 18)

With someone famous, I would say Marilyn Monroe, just before she died.

With someone infamous, I would say Douglas Haig just prior to The Battle of The Somme / Ypres - shame that an otherwise excellent leader, fucked up so badly and it is now that he is remembered for.
