I am surprised that you raise this as a Scouser. This has been done to death. There was even a YouGov poll.

The results were:

Most Popular:

1 Southern Irish

2 Received Pronunciation

3 Welsh

4 Yorkshire

5 West Country

Least Popular

1 Brummie

2 Scouse

3 Mancunian

4 Cockney

5 Glaswegian

Funny you should say that because that’s what my spellchecker put it to originally

I'm suprised cockney is so low, northern girls love it, not even remotely suprising that Scouse and Brummie are down there at the bottom, does anyone find those accents remotely attractive minus the op

Haha YouGov? I was watching Dave Goreman's Modern life is Goodish last night. Told me all I need to know about YouGov haha.

Like how the typical LittleMix fan is essentially a Nazi

Fans of Ant are too but fans of Dec are lefties work that one out.

Didn't they also incorrectly predict the last couple of election and a referendum results.

There should be a poll on how accurate polls are.

I went to school in Toxteth...Liverpool 8 , so had a Scouse accent.

Did my nurse training in Wolverhampton, so got a bit of Brum

Scouse + Brum = Scum.

Thankfully I have been in Staffordshire last 25 years, so I shook off the scum accent.

Yes, that's what I always say - I like the soft rural accents but not the harsh city ones.

You could look at it like this, it could be a scrum accent, or a brouse or even a brumudlian!

I must be a little odd then..

I like Scouse...I mean I do struggle to understand what’s being said but I like the sound.

For me it would be:

S Irish

Edinburgh/Fife Scottish

Leeds/Scouse

MrsK x
