I'd love to meet a man who will come and lie with ma cats like lie on the couch and let the cats jump all over him, him feed them packets of dreamies n be like rosemary lets go to the cats protection and get more cats. Every man I've ever known hates my cats think it's because I like the cats more than i like them.

Why thank you m'am, remember one of our girls had really premature kittens and helping to bottle feed them with a tiny little dropper every 2hrs they barely had any fur they were that prem but they all survived

My hubby and cats are inextricably linked - I have come to accept it. They just adore him. We have 3 now - the latest a feral that everyone said was way too wild ever to be "tamed". They now watch astonished as she rubs herself against him and lets him stroke her, now she has settled into sleeping on a cushion by the bookcase in our house.

When we go walking, random cats follow him - it's very strange. He reckons it's because cats can see right into your soul - and thinks his soul might be ok deep down because the cats like him!

This happens to me! Three of our neighbourhood cats follow me around and on our last trip to Fuerteventura, we left a friend’s house and at least six started following me by the end of the road. We joked that should the zombie apocalypse start, we’d fight it with a feral cat army!

I like your husband’s reasoning for it - I’m totally using that! Though cats are scoundrels, so maybe they are just recognising a fellow ne’er-do-well

My other half had never had cats before me and now I often come home to find our two curled up on him, purring happily to themselves. He’s a total convert

I don't like cats but I don't particularly dislike them either.I do however hate my neighbours cat as it seemed to think my garden was an appropriate place to crap on a daily basis.A few occasions involving a well-aimed super soaker seem to have persuaded it to reconsider

Cats do pick up a vibe and pick and choose people they want to be friendly with. Dogs do it to an extent but needing a leader can make poor choices.

Been lucky as most cats and dogs tend to want to be friendly with me.

My cats also like dogs so no worries if someone brings one round.

Love cats I grew up with around 15 at any one time people underestimate how intelegent they are!

Also a dog will love anyone who feeds it, cats are very selective who they love and are not shy about letting you know

I have always grown up around cats. I have the one cat who I've raised from a kitten. We are very close and he has always been there to snuggle up to me though the toughest of times. And when ever we do anything as a family he's always in the back ground (as the family photos always show). Plus he's a great judge of character, always gives the ex wife the cold shoulder. If she calls him to sit on her lap, he'll deliberately jump on mine instead and turn his back to her. I love him.
