"Currently going through some Bernard Cornwell books. Just finished the CJ Sansom Shardlake books " I've read some of the shardlake books and enjoyed them, I have a bit of a thing for the Sven hassell books and quite a few old ones gathered at this stage. Next on my list is the revenant, I wonder if the film stuck to the book?

"I’ve just read I am Legend by Richard Matheson. It’s a short story written in 1954 but it hasn’t dated at all. It’s so much better than the film and the ending is awesome!" To this day i still don't get the reason for not directly using the book. Its a totally different story with a really thought provoking ending

Its a totally different story with a really thought provoking ending " I believe there are actually three films based on the book. The Omega Man and The Last Man on Earth were released in the 60s and 70s. I’ve not seen either of them so can’t say whether they’re any more true to the book.
