Depends on the complaint but I don't think you get a reply informing you of what the repercussion is

I think it depends *who* you’re reporting, and why

The site says that they look at all reports. So I guess where the admin team feel it’s appropriate to take action, they do.

Yes it does. I was banned a few weeks ago. Not that I'm bitter about it or anything.

It makes me laugh when people say "report to admin" iv done it 4 times and they never even replied to me....admin must be a chick

But not a permanent ban... The person I have reported deserves it totally.
