When you’ve been on fab a while you (sometimes) come to realise that it really is about quality- not quantity!!

Yes - sex for its own sake leaves me feeling empty and cheap - so it’s not something I’ve done for a long time!

I only ‘sleep ‘ with people I genuinely like and find attractive - so you can almost guarantee that the sex will be great and you’ll both leave smiling/happy!

I’m also no longer particularly interested in one-offs for the same reason (except occasionally in a club if I really click with someone/a couple etc!) as the sex/friendship tends to get better every time!

Sometimes it’s not a matter of stopping/taking a break from swinging - it’s about looking at how you swing and finding out what works for you/makes you feel good!!

Sending huge hugs as you’re someone I care about!

No, though it's normal for sexual desire levels to fluctuate, as much as I hate the 'normal' word.

I take each day as it comes, there are usually good surprises and it's possible to change the sexual adventures, so that there's lots of variety to explore and enjoy.

If it’s an addiction then I think it can do more harm than good. You just see it as a means to cum or the excitement of a new conquest rather than the joy that it can be.

You’re in a loving couple though so I think it’s very different! You already have everything you really need from each other - so sex with others is just the cherry on top!

I do think swinging as a single is far more complex - and as us ‘old timers’ have seen over the years - it’s something some can handle and some definitely can’t! It’s a quandary - you don’t always just want shallow, meaningless fucks with total strangers - but you don’t want to get hurt either!

For those who can cope on here - who manage to make great connections and have mind-blowing sex - you need to develop mechanisms to enable yourself to have an amazing time without letting it screw you up! It’s a fine balance!
