Not sure if it’s just coincidence or if the numbers are rising but Iv seen loads of “Been let down again!” Status updates of late, usually in relation to sgl guys not turning up, and it infuriates me when I’m here and although having a fair share of people viewing me no actual bites so to speak

If I was to have a meet lined up I always turn up, whatever happened to common courtesy!

Are the time wasters increasing on Fab?

There are a lot of time wasters and fakes on here.

Thankfully the good has by far out weighed the bad for us but we are very selective to start with.

Must be really tough as a single guy on here, bad enough with the odds but throw the rest of the idiots in giving you a bad name, I can see why it’s so frustrating.

Perhaps more users need to provide video evidence of their journeys, when they are reportedly traveling to your meets?

Does anyone make video calls?

Sadly yes..... but the key is to block and move on. Lots of lovely hot guys and gals genuinely looking to meet x

There’s either an increase in time wasters, or a decrease in due diligence. Or maybe a bit of both.

On my previous profiles here I’ve had a number of meets and I guess I’m fortunate in that I’ve always had a 100% turn up rate.

I’m guessing I have no magic bullet other than that I try and build a mutual rapport and getba proper feel for someone before we meet?

Slough Windsor ish

Im not sure if its increasing. There are many people using the site for many reason.

For some just the online chat and fantasy of meeting somebody perhaps with an open mind is enough to get them off.

The only thing you can do is carry on being yourself and hope things pick up.

By far the best way to meet people is to get along to a local social meet but i understand that doing so isnt for everyone.

Yes. So much so that we have given up trying to meet guys now.

If the definition of a timewaster is someone who doesn't show for a meet then we've not noticed a rise in them. We've never had a no show...go us

Folk who have been on here for years with no verifications are also to be avoided as they have no intentions of meeting.

Likewise!

In the eight years I've been on site, only meeting single men, I've 100% meet rate.

I'd disagree.

Met my other half on here and he didn't have any verifications as he didn’t care for them.

Verifications mean nothing to me either. The thought of taking into account the opinions of a total stranger to decide whether to meet another stranger for sex is totally bizarre to me.

My own common sense and honed spidey senses have never failed me yet.

I don't think it's just men.

I see status updates from guys saying they have been let down too.

I've had my fair share of no shows over the years. For the most part it's probably been mostly my fault for not thinking with my head (not sure if there's a female equivalent of thinking with my cock? ).

The good out weighs the bad for the most part.

This is just theory, but in the case of men not turning up could it be that they are likely to be married/attached men Fabbing behind wifey's back so they either have no intention of meeting, or can't get away because wifey has dragged him off to Sainsburys?

Same. But I've met men, tv's and couples.

Could be a sign of the times. Internet dreamers.

Until recently we had 100% turn up rate for guys. The last few months have changed to virtually the opposite with us changing nothing about the way we organised meeting guys, so its odd how its changed so much.

We had it too recently.

Invited 4 guys for Mrs M’s birthday treat, 2 turned up but based on other threads on here, we guessed that would be the case.

We think a lot like the idea but then when it becomes a reality........yikes.

Mr

I do think it's way men go on though with women .For example I have just cancelled a planned meet as man been on fab and hasn't bothered chatting to me for a week .so not felt excited so i lost interest .maybe same happens with women who do this with men.Works both ways .

I'm glad it's just a theory!

This always seems to be the answer to most things on here. Either that or it's a man pretending to be a woman!

We only arrange to meet at clubs currently. That way if we get a no shiw, the night isn't lost

Life's full of let downs, the trick is to minimise the time you spend worrying about them.

I'm a glass half full kind of guy

We have minimised it by no longer meeting except rarely. Its such a relief to be honest. Best decision we have made during our swinging life no longer worrying if the guy will turn up, if he will be fun and likable. We only met at clubs anyway so we at least enjoyed the club.
