After reading this thread I thought I'd try an experiment. My profile usually has all the filters on plus it's the worst profile ever, extremely unattractive

so I usually get maybe one message a week sneak through somehow. I took all the filters off 90 minutes ago and since then have received 30, nope there's another, 31 messages. I doubted the 100s of messages per day that some claim to get, I was wrong, if my vague, unattractive profile can get a message every 3 minutes then I can certainly see how an attractive profile can receive 100s per day.

I normally get around 1000 messages every 48hours. It is a pain. Loads of women just message 1 liners like "want to fuck?" Or "look at how big my tits are"

This is incorrect. I don't use filter simply because even though I state my preferred age is upto 40 I may get a message from a guy who is 41 who I'm attracted to and who I get on with, If I have my filters on then that would be a missed opportunity.

Same with single men right now, I'm looking to meet any new guys but if one messaged me and I liked him I would be open to meet him

I'm saying that just because a woman doesn't have filters on doesn't mean she "wants" to be overwhelmed.

Really ? But if you have filters on but still get loads off messages , what do you class that as then ?

Looking at your profile I note that you've put three new pictures up in the last week.

Single women, new pictures....I would class that as someone who wants a surge in interest, lots of messages or is attention seeking.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with either and I mean no disrespect. I just think its the new or attention seeking single women who get inundated. Filters have seen to that.

If you get loads of messages 'with or without pics' then why would you bother putting new pictures up? Surely that's only going to increase message flow?

Filters are always on

Did experiment taking filters off and it went crazy but not 100 messages nowhere near that

Filters are back on and it's peaceful

I don’t get 100s of messages and the only filter I use is age....no need to comment why though I’m well aware of the reasons

Maybe they do, but I guess the ling and shirt is nine of us care about other people's inboxes...only our own, and constant bleating about it can unfortunately appear a little....tiresome?
