What's your favourite stuffed toy?

I'm feeling very ill at the moment and don't have a soft stuffy to cuddle and stroke (my phone wanted to change that to stiffy).

I used to have a big, very soft, white, floppy rabbit to cuddle on down days (because the cat used to hide from me). I stole it from a child.

Now, I have nothing

I have an embarrassing number of stuffed animals Marc buys one for me whenever we visit another country.

Of course my oldest one is my favorite, but of the newer ones I'd probably say my red panda because of its personal meaning. It's also well shaped for holding.

I have a Stitch - as in the Disney film - that someone special gave to me for Christmas in 2011 that wears ear muffs and a scarf, I've probably had less than 20 nights without him in the past six years.

I also have a very cute little bat that I got from Whitby Abbey on my birthday last year. Obviously, he's called Bram.

Do they all sleep on your bed?

One of my grandchildren has a Stitch, her bed is covered in stuffed toys.

No, no. I rotate them out, only 2 or 3 at a time.

It's like the end scene from the Waltons in your bedroom at night then

I have a ‘comfy’ rather than a soft toy. It’s essentially a rag, but it’s soft and cozy and I can’t sleep nicely without it. Yes I’m 43, yes I should have ditched it decades ago, but I like my comfy. And yes, I still suck my thumb.

Why should we bow down to societal pressure! Snuggle that comfy and bollocks to them

How big is the Chewbacca? My brother had a huge Rupert Bear that was almost as big as him.

Thumper and Bagpuss. Baggy is very old and bedraggled but I love him so much. A good teddy cuddle makes everything OK

I looked at making tiny knitted mice for someone who had an old Bagpuss.

I have a lot of teddies but the only ones in my bed are my Stitch and a pug wearing a lion costume. I have a giant Monsters Inc Mike who's half the size of me, a few on top of my wardrobe and the full Despicable Me set. "

Actually I have a Mike and a Sully.

Mrs collected shitloads of cuddly toys, over the years. All now relegated to bin bags in the attic.

None get hugged any more. Only 2 have been downstairs, in the last year:

A giant yellow teddy, which I use as a sortof Shibari notepad, for ideas

...and a large fluffy pooch, which welcomes visitors, when they stay overnight.

That really sad. Bring them down, make them feel loved again.

I have a few! Ads got me a fox for Christmas as my best friend who passed away last year her last name was fox so that stays near the bed most of the time, I also have a little bear that I actually got Ads for valentines a couple of years ago but it’s my bear he gives me when he is going to work and sprays his aftershave on and finally I have my 32 year old teddy Joey! (Huge new kids on the block fan!) he is my constant throughout my life, no matter what happens he will always be there.

Geeky x

When I was wee my mum bought me this white bear from Woolworths. Named him Twinklen. He’s always there if I’m ill or going through a tough time!

I also have all of the dwarves from Snow White, Lady from Lady and the Tramp, and Sebastian and Flounder from The Little Mermaid. I also have Crookshanks and Buckbeak from Harry Potter. And loads of random ones!!

That's to get into a comfy position, not as a cuddle buddy. You need a fluffy bunny

That's big enough to cuddle, but not too big to be scary.
